Thus, it is suitable for living units as well as for large buildings of high security demands. Additionally, the 2in1 option offers a comfortable way of changing the closing encryption if locking systems are equipped accordingly.

The reversible key system DOM ix TwinStar offers an additional service. If you have lost a key, or if someone stole your key, or if you’re simply not sure anymore who has access to your keys, you can simply change the closing encryption.

This DOM system has a factory default dual closing encryption which you can activate at your convenience. If you insert the second key type and turn it 360° in the cylinder, you will change the encryption and switch to the second closing encryption. However, bear in mind that your old keys (of the first closing encryption) will no longer be functional. This process is irreversible.

If you chose the individual locking, you will receive a standard of 6 keys for each profile cylinder = (3x keys and 3x emergency keys)
If you chose the simultaneous locking, you can open and close all doors with the same key regardless of how many cylinders you have or their length.
